WG Vrox
So with the Iron Wolf Saga the rule states: Any vehicle that carries he Iron Priest can move an extra D3, does this mean if I move the vehicle 6", then roll the dice and get a 6 and so move the vehicle an extra 3 inches I can still fire weapons as if I moved 6 or does this mean I can only fire weapon systems as if I moved over 6? Gah I hate when they don't explain the rules and it leaves it up to intent vs. RAW. ;) :wallbash: WG Vrox. My interpretatin is that you can still fire after your move. Demogerg
I am going to be running my Iron Priest with 4 wolves and 3 servitors, along with Saga of the Iron Wolf inside a Redeemer. Alongside the redeemer Ill be running Bjorn. 2 extremely tough units and a protected unit that can repair either of them on 2+ the redeemer will drive up and just be a big scarey threat for my opponent, one that he cant ignore. Even if they do wreck the land raider, the Iron Priest unit is great for smashing MCs, vehicles, and walkers. with 4 wolves and 3 servitors in the same unit, all attacks against you resolve vs T5 (50% of the models in the unit are T5 wolves) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179728-new-iron-priest/page/2/#findComment-2129771 Share on other sites
hilander
Is there anything in the rules that prevents him from taking thunderwolf mount and embarking into Landrider with some cyberwolves? Demogerg
Cavalry cannot embark on transports, only "infantry" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179728-new-iron-priest/page/2/#findComment-2129787 Share on other sites
dublindawg
Is there anything in the rules that prevents him from taking thunderwolf mount and embarking into Landrider with some cyberwolves? The TWM is not listed as an option for an IP. Only a bike and maybe a jump pack. Yep, that is my plan as well, so glad our servitors don't suffer from the Mindlock rule that SM suffer from, so they can still fight on if the IP falls. Since Cyberwolves are under a different classification than Fen Wolves, I assume they still fight on as well. I know all Fen Wolves taken as wargear die if the host died, but since the IP is not a IC and the cyber wolves & servitors form a unit that can not join with another unit, they fight on. WG Vrox.
