Master of Runes?

Master of Runes has an obscure line to describe it's purpose/rule on page 37, for future reference.

 

He can only use one power each player turn unless he has been upgraded to a Master of the Runes, in which case he can use up to two powers.

 

I would assume the restriction still applies to only 1 shooting power a turn (the others can be AoE like Storm Caller or Tempest's Wrath.

 

And I think he's referring to Grey Knights, who get a +2 Strength bonus from all their Nemesis Force Weapons.

What we get is always wounds deamons on a 2+

WTN against an avatar and he attacked the squad. Guess what happend.

wolves dont get always wound on 2+. unless im missing something....

 

Rune Weapons always wound daemons on a 2+.

they're talking about the varied force weapons out there....rune wepons always wound a daemon on a 2+ no matter the toughness (hence aalways :P ). Thus an avatar being a daemon who doesn't attack the independent character is pretty doomed...

Thanks! I've got a note book here of all the pages that are getting the sticky booktabs of awesomeness, this is probably gonna be one. My old wolf list only ever fielded a RP with BC's for that mobile cover save, and the force weapon doom for IC's. The way they're lookin in this edition I might even break out Njal. If the hq's didn't sound so awesome I might be actually to actualy field some troops in my lists >.< I'm foreseeing me having alot of problems slimming down my hq's if RP's are gonna be so good.
