Lord Ragnarok
This is Dead Claw. 13th Company hero. He and the remaining members of his warband have been asked to join, and accepted, Alarik Silvermane's Ravening Wolves (successor to Harald Death Wolf). I'm just not too keen on the Canis model, and since I have my own fluff which fits a feral SW, I figured I do my own Canis count as for fun, (and for cheap). http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/hansmannstein/DeadClaw.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/hansmannstein/DeadClaw2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v365/hansmannstein/DeadClaw3.jpg I didn't want to just plop him on a big base. I know someone would moan about him not being tall enough game wise. Plus I like the "agressive-ness of him coming down at an incline. Nothing is glued so if there are better positions I can try them as well. Let me know what you think. Decoy
Trippin' balls, mate. Very nice. I'd be scared of playing against 'em. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179815-my-canis-count-as/#findComment-2128232 Share on other sites
Growler67
Personally I would opt for just the two heads and leave the one on the fender off, a la Morkai. Just sayin'. Looks good!!! Thorgad
I like this idea immensely, and may blatantly steal it instead of fielding copies of Canis Wolfborn. Could you possibly divulge how you made the axe, and from where the front head is? Night Runner
It's a really good dynamic pose, especially him coming down the incline eager to do some serious damage. It'll send shivers down the spines of any enemy. Question: Did you scratch-build the chainsaw part of the weapon?, or is it part of another model? Corver
Looks insane, (in a good way). I have butter fingers when handling my models, Just dont drop the thing! if it falls the wrong way the whole thing would be crushed then explode! A fitting end to such a geat hero. Beast men axe (long bladed one) Dark Eldar head spikes(the teeth) Codex Termie thunder hammer(shaft) SW power axe ...i think(bottom head) Can't remember about the blade on the bottom end. fjugin
Nice model! It's quite confusing though. He looks just like a lord on bike with a frost axe and a fenrisan wolf, but he is played as a guy on thunder wolf with two wolf claws! I really think you should give him wolf claws at least. There are no way that big axe, which in many ways looks just like a frost axe, can be played as two wolf claws without getting confusing. And it will not matter when I say he is "canis" as his rules cannot change. My gaming group and most around here, are not overly strict.
