Wolf Lord Durgann
Can anyone point me in the direction of a good post that is planning on running all wolves.. or close to to? I remember reading that there is a SC that you can take that makes wolves troop choice? I am still waiting for my codex.. I know that when it arrives I'll be a bit more satisfied. I was thinking something along the lines of this... HQ SC Elite CC Dreadnaught x2 in pods Troops Wolves Fast Attack Not sure.. Heavy Support Long Fangs Any ideas if this might work? Zemox
Unfourtunatley the wolves cannot score even if they are troops so unless you are planning to only play annahilation or table the opponent it wont work. Hfran Morkai
You can run wolves as troops but they can't hold objectives from what we've been told Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/179854-wolf-army/#findComment-2128641 Share on other sites
DV8
In that you would be correct: Fenrisian Wolf Pack, page 91 Supernumerary: Fenrisian Wolves may not claim objectives under any circumstances. And the special character is Canis Wolfborn, who's "Wolf King" rule allows you to take Fenrisian Wolves as Troops. Wolf Lord Durgann
Hmmm... Think it would be possible to table an opponent with an army like this? I could also just run two-four small bloodclaw units in razorbacks.. Decoy
Dude, I NEVER play for objectives. I always play to table. Play to table before any objectives, and only start worrying about objectives after Turn 5, if they haven't been tabled. Granted, that's a good way to lose a lot of games, but it's worked for me, so I can't complain. Aim for the stars and you'll hit the moon, mate.
