it was a bleak day upon the plains of arzoth ,crows world was in the midst of a cold winter when the vile black legionaires came to raid and pillage.

standing stark against the skyline atop his rhino rune priest kanis watched the chaos filth as they took up positions on the outskirts of a small settlement long scince berift of life and hope .at his command two squads of grey hunters one of blood claws the mighty dreadnought greylock and the predator hunter of fiends.stretched out befor them were two squads of chaos scum and to there rear a havoc squad and a dreadnought armed with a plasmacanon.

 

 

as kanis looked around he caught the eye of pack leader niman who noded and disapered inside his rhino securing the hatch ,kanis opened the comand net up"brothers there may come a time when chaos grinds our bones to dust but i swear to you it is not this day "with a roar of engies the wolves surged forward the rhino of blood claw pack eniar fireing its smoke launchers obscuring kanis before the smoke surounded him he could see squad nimal dismounting into a ruin that had once been a house as the rhino of squad jarek speed past to its left the chaos rhinos would soon be flanked by squad jareks melta guns,brother greylock opened up with his multimelta the sky flashed white and one of the enermy rhinos shuddered to a stop.

 

the enermy startled by the sudden aperance of the sons of russ managed a few shots which went wild while the second rhino mounted squad disembarked in front of squad nimal and opened fire with there multiple plasma wepons and pistols.

 

but time was of the esence blood claw pack eniar dismaounted behind rune priest kanis and as one started moveing towards the havocs on foot ,whilst hunter of fiends and pack einar made short work of the squad infront of there position.squad jareks rhino reached its postion and deployed the whily greyhunters whom took cover behind some crates and readyed there melta guns.

 

the black legion recovered quickly however and started laying volumes of fire into squad jarek and squad eniar downing several sons of russ with a vast number of plasma guns.not to be back footed kanis drew deeply with him self and unleashed the world wolf which ran across the field consuming all within its grasp pack einar howeled and unleashed a volley before they and the runepriest charged the now thining havocs all the while brother greylock returned fire at the squads ahead of him.

at this point a little after thirty minutes into the engagment the chaos lord slunk out of a building in front of squad nimean .

a mighty blow was feld at this time the combined weight of fire from squads nimean and jarek when combined with brother greylock and the huneter of fiends not only anhilated both squads but the enermy lord as well inspired by this squad einar destroyed the havocs in a vicous whelter of blows .

the enermy dreadnought going beserk charged squad einar but just as it seemed it would reap a terriable harvest brother kanis smote the beast usunder with a melta charge

 

as the smoke cleared brother greylock scouting the perimeter kanis made his report"alpha pack beta here enermy probe scilenced"the vox crackled and young lord ragnars voice replyed"good work beta pack about time now get off your arse and get back in the war alpha out"
