You can use them aggressively, but in combat they will get swamped quickly with just 2 wounds. Tooling up with TDA is nice but then they cant go in Rhinos, which is where i think they will do the most damage. You want them using powers every turn, not using average combat prowess.

 

I think living lightning will become the default power. With JotWW, if its worth taking out as a threat then it usually has a high initiative anyways. Its more an opportunistic power, than something you can run with runepriest spam, which the bandwagoners will see at some point. Where as 2 rune priests in support of a WL can deal out 2D6 Str 7 hits a turn(LL x2) while the WL is tearing up units in combat. Make people roll lotsa dice, not just one dice and hope the ground opens up.

As an aside, here's what the 'dex says about BC's so we can end this now:

 

"If the squad numbers fifteen models, a second Blood Claw may replace his bolt pistol with a weapon from the above list at no additional cost."

Further on down it says one BC can replace his CCW w. a Special CCW. Sorry bud bu you're dead wrong. Re-read the 'dex next time you're at the store.

Meh. I'm not afraid to admit when I'm wrong.

Looks like my army will be turning into a tank-busting one then.
