Assassins.

Grey Mage

Not limited to SW HQs anymore.

So you can ally in an Inquisitor Lord and an Elite Assassin.

The Assassins suck though, even the Callidus (which is potentailly the best of the bunch). Just use a Lone wolf as a faux Eversor. For a Fraction of the cost.

There's a limitation of 0-1 HQ choice in each of the Hunter codexes. You could take a Witchhunter Lord, and a Daemonhunter Lord to get two elite assassins, but honestly why would you bother?

I have modeled Daemonhunter Inquisitors (Lords and elite choices) and I'll probably take them occasionally but most things an Inquisitor can do a Rune Priest can do better. Likewise our troops are more efficient than units like Grey Knights (stronger but a lot dearer) or Sisters (cheaper but lacking all round effectiveness).

Assassins are cool, and I'll be glad to be able to use mine again, but they're inefficient compared to the options we have already.

went to a campaign weekend with the tempus fugitives and there was a 'Vanus Assassin' which was all about disruption and the like. Perfect for aa wolf scout so....

thinking that it's quite possible that the ddifferent versiuons of the assasins could represent something in the list which we don't have...dodelled appropriately of course
