I've heard that Grey hunters now have a bolter, bolt pistol, AND close combat weapon. I'm stumped. What does this mean.

If you've already got a bolter and a bolt pistol ,why do you need a close combat weapon??

Or do you have to choose between a bolter or bolt pistol AND close combat weapon??

Does anyone know?

It means you can fire the bolter andstill have the +1 attack for 2 weapons. Chaos has had this for a while.

Yes, Grey Hunters get all three. Bolt Pistol + CCW means you get an extra attack in close combat.

So you get to fire boltguns, and use bp and ccw to charge/ counter charge!

Can you fire your bolter then charge with bp and ccw?

No, because you can't fire a Rapid Fire weapon and Assault.

 

You can Rapid Fire the Bolter, then use BP&CCW if assaulted for 2 attacks base. Or

You can fire the Bolt Pistol, and then charge with 3 attacks.

You can't rapid fire and assault in the same turn, it makes them general purpose units.

I don't think you can do it on the charge as you are firing a rapid fire weapon but you on the counter charge, knock yourself out (or rather your opponent ;) )
