Davius_Baneheart
Hi brothers, Can a WG included into a wolf scout squad infiltrate? I think the answer is YES, because a WG isnt a IC, so dont apply special rules for ICs and units, a WG is the sergeant of the unit... easy. -_- But I want to be sure because I am going to make a serious tournament list :) Thanx in advanced Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180117-wolfguard-and-wolf-scouts/ Share on other sites
Grey Mage
1) Wolf Gaurd, not wolf gaurdian. 2) A Wolf Gaurd attached to another unit is a member of that unit in all respects once attached- during deployment after all army lists are made and the mission is selected. *Before the battle* Thus I would say yes, he counts as being a member of the squad for purposes of the WSs outflank etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180117-wolfguard-and-wolf-scouts/#findComment-2132562 Share on other sites
Davius_Baneheart
1) Wolf Gaurd, not wolf gaurdian. Wolf guard, no wolf guardian (ok) but... wolf gaurd :P :) ? More answers please? Isiah
1) Wolf Gaurd, not wolf gaurdian. Wolf guard, no wolf guardian (ok) but... wolf gaurd :tu: :tu: ? More answers please? What does it say in the Codex?? If it says what grey mage has written then it seems pretty cut and dry to me – yes he can infiltrate with the squad he's now part of. Rokafort Stonewolf
Given that the Wolf Scouts' special rules are only lost when an INDEPENDENT CHARACTER joins the unit, this is a very cut-and-dry case. The scouts can still scout, infiltrate, or outflank, because a Wolf Guard is not an IC. Frijj
There is an implication that a wolf guard in power armour can infiltrate. It states that wolf guard in terminator armour or on a bike can not join a wolf scout unit So it seems that the intention was for power armoured WG to infiltrate. I would allow it, But FAQ it. Might even try and get an Email address for the torni before you go ahead with it. Race Bannon
No need to FAQ. Using the USR and the Codex gives the answer. Yes, he can infiltrate with the scouts. JamesI
Yep, everything looks like a Wolf guard can infiltrate with scouts. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180117-wolfguard-and-wolf-scouts/#findComment-2140802 Share on other sites
