heretic??ME??
Anyhow DHosts are a bit unpredictable but I still like them. Now we know that that chaos vehicles can be possessed as a way of creating a STABLE daemon, in fact I just kinda remembered some fluff... a chaos land raider is caught and studied by an Inquisitor.. death death imps get killed etc in some story Any idea where this story was from???? Back to topic I like the idea of an open minded -][- creating something along the lines of a penitent engine, maybe a scavenged one. But with unpredictability and psychic powers. Teleporting penitents anyone???? AND just a thought would a radical INQ use dread claws??? They would have there uses for snatch and grab missions. Tfcdogbert
Theres no real fluff problem with a radical inquisitor doing that kinda stuff, there might be some practical problems, but they use daemonswords, so seeing a penitent engine as just an extension of the principle would present pretty much no issue, as long as your not playing with something with a strong machine spirit, tnat tends to end... badly, although it is still possible. As for dreadclaws, probably not unless he can properly exorcise them, they ar etoo far tainted by chaos, and he is still an Imperial agent for the most part, im not over familiarwith their fluff but as far as i can recall they started TK'ing their occupants pretty bad during the heresy. Peredyne
I've read every bit of inquisition fluff out there, the only time I can remember an inquisitor having anything to with a daemon-possessed vehicle was when Eisenhorn fought a chaos warlord titan in Hereticus. And I agree that the fluff shows no problems with a Radical doing these kinds of things. Look at the book Malleus (Eisenhorn again) and look at what Quixos did. There is clearly no limit to a radical inquisitor.
