Lone Wolves in Terminator Armour?

Just wondering what you guys thoughts were about this one, strictly speaking Lone Wolves are Grey Hunters and Long Fangs whose pack brothers have died along the way, leaving just them alone and on a mission to go out in a blaze of glory. But the lowest rank you have to be, to be trained in the use of Terminator armour is Wolf Guard and Lone Wolves haven't proven themselves worthy to be Wolf Guard.

So rule's wise its legal, but fluff wise i cant see it happening as i cant see a Wolf Lord giving every Lone Wolf the rarest gear just to go off and get killed.....

Dont get me wrong i want Terminator equipped Lone Wolves in my army but it just doesnt seem fluffy

Have you ever seen those old Japanese cartoons (or that horrible Power Rangers show and the White Ranger who came out of nowhere) where a mysterious warrior comes in unexpectedly to save the day, that's how I view the Lone Wolves. Being wulfen in TDA would make it even wolfier IMO.
I haven't got the dex, but the Lone Wolf in the last WD battle report played by Phil Kelly had a Lone Wolf with TDA.

They also mentioned combining Mark of the Wulfen with a Thunderhammer and added terminator armoured Wg to Packs of BCs. I don't think any of those ist pssible.

MotW + Thunderhammer is legal, you just lose Rending. TDA WG with BC's is now perfectly legal.

As for the Lone Wolf/TDA quandry... remember that TDA is wonderfully resiliant, far more so than the warrior within it. It's entirely possible for a warrior to die fighting in it, his body be recovered and the armour restored to perfect condition. That way, the Lone Wolf gets the best equipment for the job and the Wolf Lord knows something is going to die... messily.

The Wolves repect dying in battle, but not throwing your life away. I could see a Wolf Lord gifting special items to Lone Wolves. Why make it easy on the enemy?

SVEN: "My Lord, I wish to join my brothers at Russ' side."

WOLF LORD: "Take this Thunder Hammer and give that Carnifex a good bashing."

SVEN: Aye!

Alas it works the other way around.

Mark of the Wulfen: A model bearing Mark of the Wulfen has the Rending special rule in close combat. Furthermore he replaces his usual Attacks characteristic with D6+1, rolled immediately prior to when the model makes his attacks. These attacks are made using the marked models' claws and teeth, and hence are not affected by wargear, additional hand weapons and so on,...

Any model with Mark of the Wulfen, in combat, automatically replaces his default Attacks characteristic with D6+1, and his attacks are made with his bare heads, and so with Rending, and no other special rules bestowed by wargear/handweapons/etc.

So Mark of the Wulfen plus Thunderhammer is LEGAL, but pointless, since you're paying points for a Thunderhammer that you can never use (even against vehicles).

Yeah, you're right. Minor brainfart there, ignore me.
