kiwitexansfan
Played a casual game to help familiarise myself with the rules of 40k tonight. 500pts, Orks vs. DH and SM. I'm about to get swamped by a mob of boys, a Warboss and his Nob bodyguard. My Daemonhost rolls terrify, and the Orks fail there pinning test letting the remainder of my tactical squad and Inquisitor Lord thin them down. Then he ties the boys up in combat for a turn before rolling reknit to heal his wounds and then holding them up another turn. Then he ties up the Warboss and Nobs for another turn while rolling Timeshift to pile on the attacks. Suffice to say by the time he died I had the time and room for shooting to win the day. SoulReaver296
Thats the thing with daemonhosts. When they work, they are amazing and its hard to get anything better. The problem is, alot of times you get something you didn't want or need (reknit while at full wounds, blood boil while catching allied units like terminators). They really are a wild card, and thats what makes them so interesting and (sometimes) effective Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180236-why-i-love-my-daemonhost/#findComment-2134205 Share on other sites
