Xtee
So Can I put a storm shield and frost weapon on a WG on a bike? and make entire squads of Melee bikes? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180296-close-combat-bikes/ Share on other sites
Rokafort Stonewolf
You CAN, but they're going to be about 100 points each. I have better things to do with those points than that. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180296-close-combat-bikes/#findComment-2134995 Share on other sites
WG Vrox
For the points and the added benefits I would rather spend my 100 points on a decked out Thunder Wolf pack. WG Vrox Problem is, I don't know how to model the thunder wolves and have an obscene amount of bikes. WG Vrox
I am in the same boat. I bought some SMB with the intention of running them in a list and when I started putting the points on paper the WG on a bike is at the midway of should I just go all out on the guy or run him as cheap as I can. I say run him cheap with a pack of swift claws MG and AB w/MM. Not to bad of a return for 125. If you want the additional leadership a WG w/ CM, MB and SMB is around 60 points. Thats the best way I could come up with. You get the leadership so your claws don't go chasing tires, extra Melta shot, and a small added benefit of the MB for assults on tanks. This unit is still under 200, but should get their points back if you take on a LR or the like. Another way to use them is blow up a transport and tie down the squad by following up with an assult on the troops. Oh and stay away from Vindicators...... Vrox.
