All those shiny new models!

My preorder package arrived earlier in the morning, and after a glorious round of skipping about, I broke out the bits I'd been saving up and set myself to work on the lot of them.

I love the new terminator box, dynamic legs make posing them far and away more interesting than the standard termie box, and the sheer number of options ( and leftover bits!) is enough to make anyone bust out into a grin.

At the other end of the spectrum, our standard wolves box has fairly standard and static poses available before any conversions, which kind of irks me. Running termie legs, but no PA ones? How odd.

Er. Without further ado, then.

A few new things, and one very old one in the midst of a color update.

A conversion I set out on a while ago, a motw Lone wolf, in the style of wolf lord mjolnir's.

And a long overdue repainting of my classic dread, who's been trapped in a perpetual state of not quite stripped for almost 2 months.

Those are really nice minis and I am so jealoius that you have yours and I still have to wait - ce la vie

Very much liking the Lone Wolf figure - what arms / hands / head have you used?? I have been considering for some time kit bashing some proper Wolf Scouts and Mark of the Wulfen and those bits look spot on.

Keep us updated - I'm sure many will want to see what people are doing with the new bits

DGC

Those are some great minis... The forge world kits are used particularly well and fit seamlessly into the theme of each character.

I agree with DGC on the lone wolf - a really effective pose. It would be great to see these when the painting is complete...

The pose for the lone wolf is perfect. I can almost hear him howling. Where are the arms from?

Also the forge world pieces on the new WG look great and add further variation (as if any was needed) I intended o buy some of the FW conversion stuff for WG TDA when they released them but now I think I may have to.

if he followed Mjolnirs bits list, the arms are beastmn, the heads an ungor and the hands are from crypt ghouls... could be wrong

very nice models there dude, and some really nice poses. i also am a big fan of your lone wolf... now if only i didn't love scouts and dreads i might be able to take one :whistling:

I used Mjolonirs bits list for the arms, Beastman with the hands trimmed off and replaced with ghoul hands. hey still need a bit of GS work, as their looking kinda sparse of hair at the moment. The head is from the marauder horsemen, I was trying to go for a more mid-change look than full wulfen. Shoulder pads are one kroot shoulder pad, and the other is a kroot pouch, with the grenades clipped off. Ill throw up some more pictures once gs-ing is done and painting is underway.
