Using non-space wolf models

I have a few space marine minis that I'm hoping are useful for my space wolves army, here's what I've got:

10x tactical marines from a 3rd ed starter set that I just got around to cracking into

10x assault marines with jump packs - do SW do the jump pack thing? I haven't gotten my hands on the new codex so I'm in the dark here

10x very old school ultramarines tactical squad that was kindly donated to me by a friend who's into the hobby and no longer uses the figs.

How would these fit into a space wolves army?

My guess is the tactical marines would be grey hunters, but I"m not sure about the assault squad, hopefully they can have a function.

Just glue on some space wolf bits and paint 'em gray and you're on your way :)

The new sprues are full of great bits to characterize your marines as son's of Russ.

As for the jump packs.

Sure they use them.

They are called Sky Claws if I'm not mistaken.

Well that's good news, since I've been feverishly stripping the figs since I got them.

....And now my room smells of simple green concentrate xD

I used to play and paint 40k loooong ago, and I have about 3/4 of the tac squad painted, and I'm pretty impressed with how quickly the painting thing came back to me. I almost enjoy painting the figs more than playing!

If my camera didn't suck I'd post some pics, for some reason the auto focus is blurry as hell when I attempt to photo something small. Its a polariod i533 if anyone has any tips, quite frustrating and disappointing that it doesn't work...
