Grey Hunters:

Pros:

Better WS

Better BS

Has a bolter in addition to BP CCW

Doesnt have to charge if they can

BloodClaws

Pros:

Get one more attack on the charge thus making the powerfist more viable

Now they cost exactley the same aswell so i reckon the Grey hunters are better in terms of tactical flexibility.

Given that they now cost the same and, essentially, have the same options (I still can't figure out why MotW isn't an option for BCs???) Grey Hunters are an all-round better choice.

Blood Claws give you the option of having more attacks. Both because of the extra attack on the charge and because you can get 15 of them. While they lack the qualiity of Grey Hunters, the have quantity to make up for it. Add in a bare bones Wolf Priest to give them Preferrend Enemy and they can really hit hard.

That being said ... I think we'll see fewer blood claws and more swift/skyclaws. Essentially the same rules, but with better movement and, for the bikes, more reliable shooting with twin linked bolters.

Whatever variety, it's important to have an IC and/or Wolf Guard with them to control them and allow them to shoot if within 6". Not much point having your free flamer if you never get to shoot it!

Bloodclaws- Purely offensive. Their defensive capabilities come from having huge packs, wich is also part of their offensive capabilities for that matter. You get more attacks then you can shake a stick at.

Grey Hunters- The regular Swiss Army Knife of SWs. Good at most everything, sept ranged firepower past 24". Smaller packs, but they make up with being good quality.
