Is a model in a transport in "base contact" with it?

Not so, if you are shooting at the unit , you are disallowed from targeting them.

If you are using pyschic power it can't be 'used on ' a unit embarked.

Units embarked are in a quasi state ... both on the table and yet not .

Sadly nothing in the embarked rules allows to to claim you are BtB with the transport.

The models must be in physical contact, being embarked is not enough.

you don't have LOS so you can not shoot them.

as for the psycic ability, good point

does it say anywhere that the TM can repair while embarked? no? then he cannot.

justifications do not a rules paradigm make.

that actually is irrelevant. It doesn't say that he can repair two at once either, but he clearly can if in base with both

the issue is if, when IN THE RHINO, he is in base with it

in no other circumstance has this issue arisen, to my knowledge. that said, I think it's fairly obvious that B2B and embarked are different things. they use different terms and have different definitions and convey different rules.

of course, this is the 3rd page of discussion - so it's obviously not that clear. I can grey area this, or we can all agree with the vast majority that "embarked" does not equal (!=) "Base to Base"
