Hrathnar Flintfang
A most fitting tribute brother! I would ask though where you got that specific axe, and how you got the arm to go that way. I've been hoping to do something similar wtih a bolt pistol for another mini I'm making. Not very good at moving arms and legs. WG Vrox
I would ask though where you got that specific axe, and how you got the arm to go that way. Axe came from a fantasy bits box at a LGS. The arm is 3 arms 1 from new sprue, 1 from bikers and one from old BC sprue, cut into pieces and reassembled with plastic glue, what a pain. Vrox Did you pin it too? I did the power sword for the model in question (still need to gap fill a bit, didn't do a great job) and the glue woudln't hold. I found using some thin wire and pinning really helped with that one. WG Vrox
No, I just used a very small dab of plastic glue and messed the pieces together real hard then kinda swirled them in little circles to create a weld. Hrathnar Flintfang
That's what I tried too at first, then the arm kept falling off, and I watned to smash something. Then after smashign it I realized my bit press was still handy and I had some thin wire and my plyers from my last attempt at making practice chains. Your method might end up looking better though since you kinda have to get lucky when pinning, but it made the job easier if nothing else.
