Wolf Claws

I have read this and I would enjoy some feed back on how wolf claws work.

The entry from the codex is as follows.

A variant of the lightning claws used by other Space Marine Chapters, wolf claws are heavily armoured gauntlets with curved, razor-edged talons sheathed in a rippling power field. Used most effectively in pairs, wolf claws are angled to echo the talons of the wolf. They allow the wielder to cut four times instead of once with each strike, either slashing to maximise his chance of hitting the foe or stabbing deep to ensure a swift kill. A Wolf Claw is a lightning Claw that allows the wielder to either re-roll his To Hit rolls or re-roll his To Wound rolls - the owner must choose at the beginning of each Close Combat phase.

1.) It says they are a variant of lightning Claws, but not actually lightning claws. They are in fact different but similar.

2.) The entry directly before it in the codex refers to Thunder Hammers and in that entry I quote, "See the Assault Phase chapter of the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook for the rules that apply to thunder hammers." This quote does not appear for Wolf Claws.

Am I understanding this correctly that a model with ONE Wolf Claw and a second weapon would still gain 2 attacks for being armed with 2 weapons or just 1? My thought is that nowhere does the entry state that to get an extra attack for being armed with two weapons does it require a model to be equipped with a pair of Wolf Claws. I will agree that it does seem to be implied but, it seems that technically a model only requires ONE Wolf Claw. I would imagine that this oversight will be addressed in an FAQ, in the mean time clarification would be appreciated.
