Greyhunter77
I've never really used transport options before (I've been playing on fairly small table) However I've now started on a larger table so I'm considering what transport options I've got. If I have a pack of 10 BC I can take a rhino as tranport. If the pack is 15 can I take two rhinos or would I have to split the pack in two? Hrathnar Flintfang
you can't split, you would have to take a land raider. Personally I am not a fan of the Blood claws in an LRC (Which is the only way to fit 15) so I would say blood claws work only as foot sloggers now. that is the advantage of pure 10 man GH packs. You can throw them out there with a rhino and send em along. stinkenheim
if the unit numbers 10 or less you can put it inside the rhino. if it numbers more than 10 then you may still buy a rhino fo the unit but the cannot embark as they cannot all fit inside. once the unit drops to 10 or below they can then use it as normal Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180781-transport-options/#findComment-2140518 Share on other sites

Their job is to assault and foot slogging means you take forever and day plus getting shot to bits along the way. Nothing says welcome to a whole lot of pain like a 15 man Blood Claw lead by either a Wolf Priest in a LRC. That's the only way I'll field Blood Claws. You don't want a transport? Then do yourself the favour and field Sky Claws instead. Hrathnar Flintfang
I'm simply saying I don't see the worth in putting those blood claws in an LRC when I can stuff a wolf lord and a bunch of wolf guard in TDA armor in there instead. Wolf Claws, Heavy Flamer, maybe an assault cannon all along with a Warrior born lord. Good times.
