Single Wolf Claw

As my shooting oriented terminators are oriented towards horde killing I wish to arm most of them with weapons allowing to strike at initiative. However the boxes do not contain enough power weapons/frost axes for what I want so I've been thinking of taking single wolf claws as I personally feel they look much better than lightning claws from the terminator boxes because of the better posing.

This is for apocalypse so points are no real issue, I'll probably have a couple of chainfists and equip the others with meltaombs just in case.

What do you think of the aesthetics of single wolf claws on TDA models?

Why not, I dont see a problem with that, The extra points for the 1 attack will make more people do it.

One attack? I don't understand. A single wolf claw will allow re-rolls to hit or wound, but needs two for the additional attack.

And I've just been trying to imagine single wolf claw and storm bolter and in my minds eye it is pretty awesome.

Adding a 2nd claw will give you +1 on attack for having 2 CC weapons

But lightning claws thunderhammers and powerfists dont get the extra attack from a pistol

I think only when paired with another wolf claw because aren't they just lightning claws with an additional rule stuck on. And these will be for TDA so storm bolters for me.

I'm not sure about the power armoured single wolf claw.

just buy 2 boxes of space wolf termies, or 1 space wolf termies box and 1 marine boxes mix and match em to get what you want.

That's what I'm doing because our termies lack cyclone missile launchers and I've got a lot of spare wolf claws that could be used.
