ChainsawDR
hi all, I was just re-reading Mark of the Wulfen and wanted to check something that sounded suspiciously too good to be true... "Skyclaw replaces its usual attacks characteristic with..." (changed slightly for copyright) does this mean his base attacks, not all attacks? "can be bolstered by other factors" (pg62) - I presume this means 2 CCW still get +1 Attack on top of his new base attacks? If so, my understanding is... my MotW Skyclaw with gets base of between 2 and 7 attacks, plus 2 for beserk charge, plus 1 for two CCW = a maximum of 10 re-rollable rending attacks (being led by Wolf Priest with preferred enemy) Could someone please double check this for me? Thanks ChainsawDR Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180921-motw-number-of-attacks/ Share on other sites
Grey Mage
Youd be precisely correct. Thought note the +1 part of the d6 is basicly your two weapon bonus. Yes, MotW does replace your skyclaw's base attack number, making it between 2-7, and yes, you do get the bonus for charging, however you do not get the bonus for having 2 CCWs. It clearly states "These attacks...are not affected by wargear, additional weapons and so on" (pg62). But you still get anywhere from 4-9 attacks on the charge, so its still a great deal Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180921-motw-number-of-attacks/#findComment-2142122 Share on other sites

Heimdal
Umm its 4 - 9: 1+1+ 2 = 4, 6+1+2 = 9... 2 Attack for assault charge (Blood Claws) 1 Attack for MotW says so 1 Attack for lowest possible dice throwing. 4 Attacks minimum 9 Attacks Maximum on the charge (2+1+6=9) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/180921-motw-number-of-attacks/#findComment-2142798 Share on other sites

Don't know how I missed the part about this being on a SkyClaw (who would get the +2 Attacks for Berserk Charge). I had Grey Hunters on the brain. Disregard my prior.
