FireFist
Is it possible to attach a deathwatch squad to my SM army? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181051-deathwatch-kill-team/ Share on other sites
jeffersonian000
Yep. They are an elite choice in the Space Marine codex called Sternguard. You can have up to 3 squads of them. FireFist
Are you sure because fluff wise they can be armed with anything and can be made up of any unit and the marines can be from any chapter (except GK). ex: 1captian, 1 librarian, 1 chaplain, 1 sergeant, 1 assault marine, and 1 tech-marine. That's what the usual is from the deathwatch book series. Aeddon
what about the "Chapter Approved: Deathwatch Kill-Teams" from a while back? is that still legal! jeffersonian000
what about the "Chapter Approved: Deathwatch Kill-Teams" from a while back? is that still legal! Rules-wise, the old Chapter Approved Deathwatch Kill Team article is no longer valid as it references all of its entries from the 4th edition Space Marine codex; Sternguard in the current 5th edition Marine codex are close enough to the old DW rules and are a great substitute. Fluff-wise, you are free to do whatever you think is appropriate for your Death Watch Kill Team story. the jeske
well though luck m8 your too late , the unit is illegal for game play. as others said closest thing you can get is make a parent list of sm and use sternguar +pedro cantor.
