2 things which came up in a game yesterday

I played a friends GT daemon list yesterday (got a 5-4 win on kill points :P) and these 2 things cropped up:

1. Jaws of the World Wolf - says draw a line models touched by line take I test or are removed. Fine. If the line hits differently armed models (say normal crusher, a crusher with fury and a crusher with icon) does my opponent roll for each model seperately or can he roll 3 dice (or however many models were hit) and if he fails 2 take any 2 crushers he wants?

I'd always assumed it was roll for each model hit and if that specific model fails his I test then its the one that dies, simple as that but i'm doubting myself now.

2. Acute senses. Do vehicle get this? The entry says all space wolf models but the entry in the army list doesn't have acute senses listed. The old codex vehicles used to get it because they are a space wofl model. Is this still true in the new codex?

1. I believe Jaws is rolled on an individual model basis.

2. Not sure.

My assumption is the same, since the attack goes against individual models, you'd specifically roll against each one individually/one at a time.

humm the first answer should be on a model bases , so roll for each model not squad

and second ,............humm well if it says model , then technically walkers can benefit as it has an initiative (as night fighting besides the 2 d6 x 3 , you also get Initiative x 2 for each model as standard) , but vehicles definitely dont get it lol thats where search lights come in isnt it ? XD

For number 1, it's the same question as things like Dangerous Terrain tests.

When you hit these, do you roll for the squad, and can place casualties anywhere, or do you have to roll for each distinct mini in a unit?

It's a bit of a grey area that's not explained in the BRB. :)

On vehicles, are they crewed by Space Wolves? Since the BS is 4 then it's safe to assume one of two things:

-crewed by Space Wolves

-crewed by a techmarine, or Iron Priest

Therefore, yes, vehicles get "Accute Senses".

I belive its per unit you roll. So if 3 models enter DT roll 3 dice and for each cassualty (remember their inv saves...) remove one of those in terrain... But i can not tell you that im right, but seems like the most logical way to me (except for when you charge with the first model ofc.)
