dublindawg
I have been going back and forth in my mind about taking a squad of wolf scouts and how to make them really unique looking. One idea I was thinking of is sculpting wolf skins onto the back and heads of the models. Sort of an opposite of the wolf wearing sheeps skins to get into a herd (doesn't help that I have been watching old looney toons with the coyote trying to get sheep under the watchful eye of the dog). Has anyone else gone this route with their scouts? I know they cannot take camo cloaks but the image would be cool looking IMO. dublindawg
check out wolf lord mjolnirs blog too, hes converted his scouts using the above method and they look sweet. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...blogid=610& He has some really cool poses with most of the scouts charging into the battle look. It appears he used the lower part of standard SM legs and the upper portion of the scout legs and then various parts for the upper body. It gives me some ideas, now I just need to sneak over to the gaming store and grab a box of scouts to start conversions on.
