Sun wolf weaponry

I'm planning to build a Great Company with the Sun Wolf as the symbol (probably not Dragongaze's) and all the plasma weapons have the have little bits about the bite of the Sun Wolf and such under they're descriptions in the armory section. Now I'm wondering from a fluff point would such a GC use flamers and such? I ask because I can't really see Bloodhowl's GC using alot of plasma based weaponry.

*shrugs* There preference, and then theres tactical acumen.

 

Will the Sunwolves perhaps have a preference for plasma weaponry over other kind? Thats up to you... I know my Stormwolves do though.

 

Does that mean I wont throw down a dual meltagun pack here and there? Heck no!

 

So do what seems fun, and will give you a cohesive and tactical force.

That's what I was thinking, but I thought i'd check the elders around here :D No reason a Wolf would bother not popping that tank!

as has been said, despite what their favoured load out is, wolves are flexible enough to know when to change weapons and big enough to stand up to people who go 'you do realise *pushes glasses up nose* that being part of a sunwolf company you should only use plasma guns *insert geeky laugh*'

 

use whatever weapons you think the situation will call for. by the way, you could argue that melta weapons are the heat of the sun, and flamers are the suns flames... not only plasma guns are hot and dangerous :D
