Can a space marine chapter master use his orbital bombardment while in a transport with no fire points. Such as a land raider or a razorback. OwlandMoonGuy Posted October 13, 2009 Share Posted October 13, 2009 In Codex: Space Marines, pg. 52, “Calling down an orbital bombardment otherwise counts as firing a ranged weapon and uses the following profile:” The BRB pg 66 provides the rules for firing ranged weapons from within a Transport, check under the heading, Fire Points. There are several limitations mentioned, first and foremost that a Fire Point is required. Note that Orbital Bombardment is a Barrage weapon so it does not require LoS. Despite that fact, a Fire Point is still required for any/all shooting attacks made from a model embarked in a transport.
