White Hunter
So I've been looking at my GH squads and weighing the pros and cons of adding or subtracting a WG pack leader (thanks for your help everybody). So then I started thinking, about having a footslogging pack, + WG Pack leader. This comes out to about even to a 10 man pack of GH's in a Rhino. This also give the options for giving your pack leaders tda and heavy weapons as well. This is really appealing to me, but I was wondering if anyone thinks it is viable to mix footslogging and mech armies? I haven't seen it done really, so I thought I would ask. Grimmwulf
Yeah, that is a valid choice. I take 10 GH with 2x Plasmagun and a WGBL for securing my home objective. If it is not an objective based mission they still have their uses. keeping enemies away from my longfangs for example. I was thinking about adding a runepriest to that unit with the living lighning power and stormcaller. He could provide long range fire support or a cover if the enemy really has nothing else to shoot its anti infantry weapons at. DV8
It is viable so long as both elements (foot slogging and mech) can support each other. DV8 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181663-can-a-mixed-force-work/#findComment-2150338 Share on other sites
