Capt. Kenaz
Was there an official name for the Limited Ed. Games day Wolf Preist a while back??? Is priest spelled with the i before the e ? Ha Ha ha. But, seriously, I am curious if he had a story behind the model.... Thanks in advance! : ) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181689-200-limited-ed-games-day-wolf-preist/ Share on other sites
Brother Amarel
2003. I'm pretty sure he was just a Wolf Priest, but there was a full page in the Gamesday programme for him, so perhaps I'm not remembering the details... (Oh and 'i' before 'e', except after 'c' ;)). Baba Lem
I'n German he was dubbed Sternenhammer. So that's either just that...or maybe something like Sternhammer. They had a ruleset for him on the German GD site some ages ago. Definitely 2003 and I think he was supposed to be Wolf Priest Sternhammer, of the 13th Company (note that the Crozius could easily be a Thunder Hammer. Nadir
Wolf Priest Sternhammer - Warden of the Lost. That's why there wa written "Sternahmmer Bodyguards" on the box of wulfen models He was special character for 13Co. But I don't remember where his stats were. For sure he wear cloak of the wulfen (with made him and squad he joins night fighting rules to shoot at them), and something like one per turn autosave for wulfen models if he join wulfen squad. Somewhere I have rules for him - have to sniff around... Capt. Kenaz
Awesome, I knew I had heard it around before, and thank you for jogging my memory. Wolf Priest SternHammer will be a part of my new SW army, just suing regular Wolf Priest Rules, and maybe the Saga of the Hunter. Thanks again for all the replies. :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181689-200-limited-ed-games-day-wolf-preist/#findComment-2151044 Share on other sites
wiplash
the rules were on the internetr somewhere on a fan created 13th company website but it seems to have been taken down now ;) EDIT~: found some: http://www.starbasejeff.com/cybercathedral...sternhammer.htm basically he's a better equiped wolf priest who gives wulfen 4+ armour save and oponents act as in night fighting against him Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181689-200-limited-ed-games-day-wolf-preist/#findComment-2151578 Share on other sites
Oldenhaller
Feel no pain rather than 4+ armour save - but turning units of Wulfen into pimped out unshootable death company is sooo much fun ~O Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181689-200-limited-ed-games-day-wolf-preist/#findComment-2151582 Share on other sites
Sambu
There were no official rules for the miniature. The mini was released in 2003. I know the name you guys are saying was passed around in apocalypse (infact There was an artical on games workshop's website with him and a squad of wulfen). Not sure if that helps but that's the best I got. He was a pretty cool Wolf Priest, that's for sure. obs0l3te
Guys I went to Games day that year and got the model. It was simply the special games day only model they released that year with eye of terror because the EOT codex came out in 2003 as well. I'll post a picture of the model when I decide to get off my rear... its really nice ;) as for the "Special rules" This is where it came from http://www.games-workshop.com/MEDIA_Custom...ulfen_Guard.pdf (please note that is the Current Metal Rune priest in the PDF) hope that clears up any craziness with all of this.
