Quick Whirlwind Question

no, simply.

it should be kept behind terrain and out of sight. it shouldn'tbe moving much. stunned and shaken will have the same impact on it- it won't be able to shoot.

i think extra armour should mainly be taken on vehicles you need to keep moving- transports for instance.

Ya, definetly no extra armor on the Whirlwind, it should be kept out of harm's way, and if it gets out flanked and is taking fire, its probably dead anyway.

Spend those 15 points on extra armor for your transports, those things have got to keep rolling towards the enemy's lines

actually, i forgot about dreads... i would agree with james, dreads need it. if they are in combat it stops them getting grenaded on 4s and means they can carry on forward and assault if need be.

so simply, if you take transports- yes

artillery/fire base tanks (preds)- no

dreads- yes

land raider- up to you. if you think armour 14 is enough protection then don't if its vital it can keep moving do
