So on my first ever rend with MoTW I happen to way pay back the points for it the GH that it was on ripped the back hatch with his teeth, and then spit it out back at the loading crew causing a huge explosion! it was awesome, took two of his pack with the tank, but when you see your brother eat metal i dont think that you would be to upset about it.

MotW is great. For essentially the cost of another GH you get 1d6+1 base attacks, which is at a minimum base of 2 and therefore the same as a GH with BP & CCW. If you roll an average roll of say 3 you get another 2 attacks, or the equivalent of another GH (-charge bonus, etc). If you Max Out you get 7 attacks, which is over three times the number of GH attacks.

And they Rend! I've taken out Dreadnoughts with MotW SWs. It's awesome!

If I recall correctly, while MotW attacks aren't affected by wargear, they are effected by charging (and by Counter-Attack), giving a theoretical maximum of 8. I think Ragner's d3 charging attacks would stack, too (though they replace the normal +1 for charging, right?), pushing it up to 10 - assuming you can roll max on two dice in a row. :D
