Lady_Mournival
So I have a question on a rule in the codex, specifically page 81 the leaders of the pack thing. As I already said I know this really sounds noobish and I feel it but some confirmation would be nice. So we all know the basics of the rule but does this mean I can't give my rune priest and wolf lord melta bombs? or equip them both with runic armour? or is it only a problem if I put the two together (which I want to do....)? any clarification would be greatly appreciated for this whelp. For Russ, the All-Father, and the Wolftime! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/ Share on other sites
Morticon
There are a few threads (if im not mistaken) dedicated to this. The long answer short is that its poorly written and were not sure ><; Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2152561 Share on other sites

For Russ, the All-Father, and the Wolftime! Wargear is quite clear- you can give them some of the same equipment, but they cant have Identical equipment- IE one could have a Powerweapon, Meltabombs, Runic Armor and a Wolf Tail Talisman, the other could have TDA, Powerweapon, meltabombs and a wolf tail talisman. Its just like the WFB Dwarf items. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2152584 Share on other sites
Coverfire
I have a couple of questions.. most of which have probably been asked already also. Arjac Rockfist - Not an Independent character... so although I have to direct his attacks to an IC where possible - he is stuck fighting the squad to get hits on him correct? And... I forgot the rest that I was meant to ask, but for the most part I have read the answers for most other questions I had today. I suppose I should double check - can a squad that consolidated after combat climb back into a vehicle? (meeting all requirements to do so) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2152758 Share on other sites
muzzyman1981
No as you can only enter a vehicle during the movement phase. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2152763 Share on other sites
JamesI
Rockfist has to attack an IC if he can. The IC can not attack Rockfist back, the attacks go to the squad as Rockfist is not an IC. (I think this is what you were asking about). As for the original question, wargear can't be entirely identical. Can't take 2 wolf lords on bikes with frost blade and stormshield. But give one a meltabomb and now you are fine, or swap a frost blade for a wolf claw. Race Bannon
And I love this rule. If all it takes is one piece of wargear ... cool. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2153084 Share on other sites
Hfran Morkai
And I love this rule. If all it takes is one piece of wargear ... cool. Aye, shame grenades aren't optional, one point upgrade! (But wolves should have always taken frags anyway) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181871-question-that-needs-addressing/#findComment-2153089 Share on other sites
