Levitas
The new models are great, but... There is too much of one and not enough of the other. Buying 3 PA boxes and 1 termie box I had an abundance of stuff left over, but not useful stuff at times. So I have all these hammers, claws, stormbolters, banners, and heads. So many heads that i have no idea what they will ever be used for. As to use them i'd need legs, torso, pads, back packs - stuff that is limited in the boxes. And if i bought new boxes id have...more heads! And when i need melta I have 6 plasma guns instead. But the biggest puzzle is that I had to convert to obtain the standard wolf guard armament in TDA. I actually really like having storm bolter and power sword - its genius. How many vanilla terminators have been lost as they slowly swing their powerfists? I shouldnt have to convert to get the standard loadout. But converting is fun so they are forgiven. I have found the bits sites to be very helpful, but what are you doing with all those heads?? Lord Noble
I'm popping heads off any unpainted marines I had previously glued on, and dremel-ing the heads off of the AoBR Marines to put the extras onto. Makes the AoBR marines more like their Wolf-y brethren. -J Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/181899-use-your-heads-too-many-to-know-what-to-do-with/#findComment-2153052 Share on other sites

dublindawg
As I have 50+ tactical and 10 assault marines before I started to collect SW, I have plenty of uses for all the heads. Hfran Morkai
I found a lot of the heads acutally aesthetically displeasing, a few of those heads are downright nasty and I wouldn't use on my models, hence why I've been giving them to others in the hope when they get some nice bits they'll remember those 15 odd heads I gave them. I agree with the power weapon thing though, I was expecting at least one ten man "shooty" pack with power weapons but I've since decided I'll take single wolf claws instead as its five points per model and they will be for apocalypse.
