Is storm bolter one-handed weapon?

Hi. I saw that WG can purchase storm bolter for 3pts, but that made a question above. I saw that TDA WGs using SB with one hand, but can PA WGs also use SB with one hand? I mean, can they use both SB with one hand, and have another weapon with other hand?

 

P.S. I think boltgun/bolter is two-handed weapon, but is it correct?

It doesnt give you +1 attack, but you can model it in one hand or two as you choose... makes little difference. Unless its TDA I would probly model it two handed, but whatever works.

The storm bolter counts as a two handed weapon specifically so you can't claim the bonus for wielding an additional close combat weapon, however the wielder can hold and fire it one handed, it's just preventing you claiming it's similar to a pistol. It's why my pack leaders armed with thunder hammers take them, can't gain the extra attack unless another thunder hammer is taken and storm shield is too expensive for a humble pack leader so I pay a few points for two strength four shots at 24 inches and being able to fire it and assault.

There are no more two handed weapons or one handed weapons- it just doesnt say you get +1 A so you dont.

 

But modeling wise, 2 handed for most PA is how Id do it, 1 handed for reall badasses and TDA.

As far as I know, unless a weapon is classed as a single handed melee weapon, or a pistol, then it cannot be used to claim a bonus attack in close combat. Lightning claws and power fist equivalents go even further and prevent you claiming a bonus attack unless the paired weapon is of the same type.
