so when i heard last year the new SW 'dex was coming out i decided to finally go the way of the wolf and do up an army th eway i'd wanted to do one for a while...bigger than a guardsman...this process has involved a lot of bits ordering, anticipation, picking stuff up from james, ebay, forgeworld, and several months of careful gs work from tim...

pretty much this entire army shall be converted to make them stand out from a regular SM army. does this mean they will get shot at easier due to TLOS...yup. Will I win much with them...I dont know...but will I have on the table an army I will be happy with...probaby...until I decide I want to do it all over again:) The hollee sheet wide raider will be like its smaller cousin as soon as i take some time with my dremel to remove the LR tracks and add the blade ones...(before anyone else says it...YES i realise not all the blood claws nor th eterminators will be able to fit at the assault ramp and honestly I dont care ...it looks cooler than a regular LR to me and thats all that matters...!)

As it stands this will be a 1500 point list...2 of the 3 rhinos are in the pic as I have ideas for expanding the list to include a pack of long fangs in a razorback ...and either a whirlwind or a vindi...

Looking good. My own SWs are also made from the WoC, but I haven't sculpted as much of the leg as you have. I kept the feet and then just made kind of an armour plate around the leg.

Anyway, I have two suggestions:

1. At the knee armour, the little thing sticking out should be removed. Looks a lot less "fantasy-ish".

2. If you use WoC weapons, be sure to get rid of any Chaos marks they may have (the hammer in the last pic for example). It takes som time, but is worth it in my opinion.

guess i should post army list up...

wolf guard battle leader in PA with frost axe, wolf tail and a plasma pistol

5 wold guard in TDA (1thunder hammer/storm shield, 1 frost axe/combimelta, 1 SB/ wolf claw, 1 heavy flamer/chainfist, 1 combiflamer/powerfist) in a LR(xarmor/multimelta)

10 grey hunters(2 melta, plasma pistol and a wolf standard) in a rhino (dozer)

15 blood claws (2flamers) in LRC (xarmor, multimelta)

eventually a long fang pack (3 HB, 1LC, 1ML) with pack leader sporting a plasma gun in a razorback

and a whirly or a vindi

natanael...will be doing aaway with chaosy marks...im just excited to be this far along and wanted to post some pics:)

ahhhh see what you are saying bout the armor...will work on getting those out of there! thx man!!

Yeah, I just wanted to make sure you did B) Great job so far!

as for widening the LR...mmmm, no thanks man! getting it all to fit right is interesting enough as it is...that and any wider and itll need a new carrying case B) I love the repressor model...actually seemed tall enough for the regular marines and now with the TS grey hunters...seems small again:)..the razorback is just an immolator top to boost it up a lil taller. Am still contemplating the weapons loadout for it, love the LC/twin plasma idea and I have a FW LC from a vulture thats been sitting idle for way too long:)...guess i can just make more than 1 turret

Thx for the responses guys...will post more pics as I make some progress...school has me, then BDay stuff this weekend so ...hopefully update before next week
