BertyBottyBiter
Checking the rule book and the codex, it looks to me as though a Lone Wolf can never share a transport with a squad but could share with another solo independent character. Independent characters that board a vehicle with a squad are taken to have joined that squad, which is something Lone Wolves can never do. Am I correct in thinking this? It, probably correctly, limits your transport options - he can't ever use a drop pod for example. stinkenheim
hes not an IC so he couldn't share a transport anyway (you can't have 2 units in the same transport). theres no reason why you couldn't buy a rhino for, lets say long fangs, and then deploy him in it in turn 1. he wouldn't be able to start in it (because its a dedicated transport) but he can embark anytime once the gmae is underway Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182287-lone-wolf-transport-options/#findComment-2156645 Share on other sites

Too many people give me a strange look when I say it. El Scotcho
I use it too. On topic, yes, you could buy a transport for a squad and then not use it to transport that squad, like I'm doing with my Blood Claws in smaller games. They'll get a razorback, and they obviously can't all fit inside, so they'll be used as ghetto predators, or lone wolf delivery devices. Although now that I've said that bit about not being able to fit, I have an image in my head of a bunch of Blood Claws hanging off of a Razorback like a bunch of 1920's firemen or police. Or even better, a bunch of Blood Claws in a Rhino, all sticking their head out of the top hatches with their tongues hanging out. BertyBottyBiter
It would be quite amusing to use a Land Raider Crusader and not tell your opponent what's in it. Can you imagine the look on their face when a single men steps out of the assault hatch?
