akaranseth
Hello! I've posted on my site a tutorial on the realisation of a diorama with a K.O. vehicule in industrial ruin. The vehicule is an Imperial Malcador but the modeling and painting techniques can be applied on any Space marine type vehicule so... I hope you will enjoy! http://akaranseth.over-blog.com/pages/step...ks-1873528.html Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182321-tutorial-on-a-ko-vehicule-in-industrial-ruin/ Share on other sites

cathar the great
Nice tutorial. I'm afraid that sooner or later, I'll have to start using oil paints... Meatman
Wow, I'm stunned. That is quite possibly the best scenery piece I have ever seen, ever! How long did it take you to do? The Normish
Quite good. However it looks impractical to use an actual game. Great diorama though! wizard12
I can think of a few senario special rules in a sort of "tank down" mission great terrain Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182321-tutorial-on-a-ko-vehicule-in-industrial-ruin/#findComment-2219579 Share on other sites
stinkenheim
the overall piece may not be pratical in games but the processes are usable on many different pieces, from terrain to individual models. its a superb tutorial and a stunning final piece, many thanks for sharing this with us. despite the obvious uses of the painting half of the tutorial, i am delighted you included the processes you went through in creating the scenery piece itself. i would not have thought about using lego that way, genius :tu: +EDIT+ sorry normish, i didn't mean my post to imply that you thought little of the piece, apologies if it came across that way. Aerixis
Thats stunning dude, I love the weathering on the bulkhead doors! Would you recommened the Tamiya paints for projects like this? I've been tempted but I've never gone the whole way and tried it... I definitely recommend the Tamiya paints as long as it is to be airbrushed. They are great paints for airbrushing but not so great for brushing.
