White Hunter
So I've always been a character player because I love the fluff behind most of the characters that we can play with, however I was feeling in kind of a creative mood and I decided I wanted to make my own wolf lord and give him a back story (Still planning on doing it BTW), but when I got all done I realized that his points costs is just under (and over some) the cost of special characters. So I was wondering if your taking a tricked out Wolf Lord, why not just go all out and spend the extra 30-50 points on one of the special characters and get all the awesome rules that come with them, and make a count as character? Jonas Stromclaw
Using GW characters just rubs me the wrong way, I guess 'cause Ive got a rebellious streak as long as any wolf's. Plus, it is a ridiculous amount of fun to make up fluff for your characters. I currently have a name and fluff for my wolf lord, WGBL, Rune priest, Wolf priest, 6 of my wolf guard, 2 long fang pack leaders, 2 grey hunter pack leaders, 2 bloodclaw pack leaders, 2 dreadnoughts, land speeder crew, and the laddie whose in charge of my wolf scouts.
