Prototype
I was thinking of converting my own, but was holding off until I got confirmation on whether or not there will be an official Arjac miniature. Any news on this? Thanks Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/ Share on other sites
Toasterfree
none yet, and may not be one. you can make a great one out of the termie box now Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159073 Share on other sites
Prototype
Yeah but I'm concerned that if an official one comes out, it might be so awesome that I'd buy it and end up with two Arjac's....... Evilmerlin
You can always use the one you made as a normal Wolf Guard then or as a Battle Leader. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159092 Share on other sites
HERO
I just made mine out of a head I found in my GH pack and a WGT w/ TH/SS. He's not all that special. WolfLordLars
I plan to just use an old SW Terminator with TH/SS as "Arjac" until they release a model. Nothing special at all. nurglespuss
From the picture, he looks exactly like lysander, and is in the same pose, so there's a start for you :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159108 Share on other sites
Hfran Morkai
I feel they will release one because why would GW pass up the chance to sell lots of metal figures in the £12 region? Plus it'll be an easy way to distinguish him from the pack. If they do it I hope his pose is him preparing to throw his hammer. WG Vrox
Build a Arjac now and if a model for him comes out you can always convert it to a HQ choice. Plus you would get the extra benefit of having a couple of unique models. Here is my WIP if your looking for ideas Arjac Vrox Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159123 Share on other sites
Chucku
I prefered making my Arjac from the Wolf Guard Terminator sprue. You can really get some badass poses and gear from that box! Lord Ragnarok
Mine is a 13th Company champion who my GC has asked to join along with some of his other warband brothers after they were down to their last numbers in the EoT. I'll either also do an Arjac mini or wait on a released mini. That said, the Terminator box makes it just too easy not to make one of your own. muzzyman1981
Not the best pic but this is my pre-painted version of Arjac: http://i292.photobucket.com/albums/mm37/muzzyman1981/Picture44.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159500 Share on other sites
wolf2.3
Nice arjac there. Especially like the anvil in his back. Nice touch. :) Mine looks simelar. I based it of the example wolf lord in the current WD sort of... exactly :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159554 Share on other sites
muzzyman1981
The anvil is from a dwarf hammer from WHF. I can't wait to paint this guy, trying to think of a paint scheme. It is very easy to make an Arjac from the new Terminator box set, see.....sometimes GW knows what it's doing lol. Wolf Lord Mjolnir
Am I going crazy but didn't GW commit to producing a model for all options in Army books and codices? Saying that I am not expecting a Mark of the Wulfen model. I expect the following in wave two: Thunder Wolf cavalry Arjac Bjorn the Fell Handed Possibly Fenrisian wolves Otherwise there is nothing further to add?!?! Eberious
This s what I made with standard (re-used) Terminators and very few SW parts. Some GSt and a converted hammer. The jewls in the right power fist represent the teleport homer and the P-fist represents his "massive fist". http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af317/Eberious/DSC04554.jpg Almost got the pose exactly like the one in the codex. As usual lots of pics. http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af317/Eberious/DSC04557.jpg http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af317/Eberious/DSC04558.jpg http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af317/Eberious/DSC04560.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182524-arjac-miniature/#findComment-2159800 Share on other sites
Taeken
Love the Thor wings Eberious. :P I am pretty much going the way you guys are. Though I've found a little anvil charm (local Celtic store) that will be placed on Arjac's back. I just have to practice my GS skills so I can make some half way ok looking bear pelts. Wolf Guard Nostromo
Im currently doing a conversion using Lysander as the basis alongside my considerable bits box. Still much to do, but the model (and more specifically the hammer and shield) seemed suitably dominating and massive. Not finished yet, but Im really pleased with it so far. Growler67
I'm poising mine "in action" HERE. As noted in another thread, I removed the power cable on my hammer (because that would severely reduce it's throwing range) and came up with a pretty good solution if I do say so myself.
