Spraying Space Wolf Vehicles?

Prototype

Recommended Posts

Probably a better question to ask at the Painting forums, but I thought since my question is extremely specific, its probably better to ask here given the higher concentration of SW players.

I was thinking of buying the Shadow Grey Citadel spray can (I'm pretty sure they have this color in spray form right?) to spray my vehicles, thus saving me some time. However, I wanted to ask; is the Shadow Grey from the can the exact same color as the bottled version, as in if I use the bottled paint to touch it up, it would be completely indistinguishable? I ask because in the past, the sprays and bottled paints of other companies sometimes have different tones even though listed as the exact same color.

Thanks!

I thought they got rid of the sprays other than black/white and the rough terrain one like 3+years ago..Haven't seen them instore for atleast that. If you really want to spray them might want to consider getting one of the "flamer" spray guns or an airbrush.
GW and silly.....how wierd =P

All kidding aside, the GW paintgun works fairly well for fairly cheap. Of course spraypaint works well, use higher quality stuff though if you can.

I thought those sprayguns were exploding in people's hands.

if that was GW would have lost much money...

simple way with wolves...

fenris grey (it's a foundation paint) badab wash/space wolf grey dry brush.. this gives u a base coat to work on.

touch up. crests shinning gold mixed with mithrel silver.

runes. fortresse grey/badab wash.

the other bits do your own..

but when doing a pack heigh light on the same side and skim edges with mithrel silver.

hope that helps.
