Marshal Wilhelm
What size is the base and how tall is it at the shoulder? IMO; The face seems a bit cartoony but that could be because of the painting/photography. The rest of it looks pretty good. Mar Bloodaxe has some nice looking D&D ones on Beavers post. They look solid to me. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182827-thunder-wolf-pictures/#findComment-2162680 Share on other sites
Evilmerlin
Damn it! There is no more available! But it looks really good! That looks like a 60mm base so the size looks probably about right. Evilmerlin
http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l108/alvinycy/wolf.jpg Here's a picture of it which I got from Ebay. The original link was from an russian website and was incredibly slow. I've re-hosted it so hopefully it'll be easier to see. The seller is on ebay and I've contacted him/her to see if any more would be made available. Nadir
The wolf is just great, and looks like a real one, But it is still little too small, like a pony. nurglespuss
Looking good :) but I agree, the wolf is either having a poop, or has just noticed a marine is on its back... :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182827-thunder-wolf-pictures/#findComment-2162934 Share on other sites

Growler67
Canines lower their heads and raise their hackles when challenging or showing aggression. Thinking they are having a poop without knowing they arch their backs to do so is mere showing how much you actually know about what you attempt to speak of. Facial expressions (as represented by a given artist) may incorporate "human" like elements, but they are wrong in doing so or making/depicting such impression, IMO. Perhaps a wee bit on the small side, but still a much better fit in scale and appearance to many of the others that are currently available and/or are being used to make conversions with. The person listing the auction is hoping to have another one up this week, though english is obviously NOT the first language. Nothing specific about stock or on hand numbers specifically other than it appears this person is casting them individually and potentially painting them as well. It doesn not appear to be a commercially mass produced item, at least not at this point in time from what little I have gathered. Just sayin'. obs0l3te
When I contacted HER on ebay... she said that they would have some new ones cast by the end of the week. the ebay auction says they come UNPAINTED and are case resin. I'd like to get my hands on around 5... guess we will see soon enough ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182827-thunder-wolf-pictures/#findComment-2163541 Share on other sites
liquidbiue
The seller is really nice and easy to work with. I ordered the metal Leman Russ-ish mini that the seller had. (Look up Lone wolf Wolf Lord converted under completed) Took about 2 and a half 3 weeks but shipping was only $5 and coming from Russia. Lots of care in packaging it too. I emailed the seller about getting some more of those in too, I'll probably pick up a handful. Warhorse47
Okay, here is what the Dire Wolves look like with Marines on them. I still have to figure up some kind of saddle/seat for them. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff303/Kevin-Andra/003-15.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/182827-thunder-wolf-pictures/#findComment-2167007 Share on other sites
