Uhlan
Just wondering if anyone has tried this, putting a character with the Saga of the Hunter (probably Wolf Priest) with a unit of Blood Claws. Outflank them and you avoid the whole nasty walking slowly towards the enemy thing, you also get extra cover save which is nice. Just wanted to check that the character does confer the ability to his unit and wondering if it's a good idea, have to roll for them but they come in anywhere along the table edge. Can they assault the turn they come in, bit rusty on the rules and can't find the correct bit in the rule book because I'm a bit lazy. Forseti
Sorry mate, "The unit's special rules are not conferred upon the the character, and the character's special rules are not conferred upon the unit." You can however make him join a pack of Wolf Scouts, with a Wolf Guard, all kitted out for assault. Uhlan
Ahhh yes, of course. Shame, it would have been so beautiful to watch them munch their way along a Tau gunline.
