3rd company captain greg of the 454 guard

Recommended Posts

As per tradition I put fluff up, this is mainly born from boredom so nothing to special here, just another type of my insanity! (did I mention this is me crow-barring anime into 40k!)

Third grand company captain Greg Havok is one of the 9 bearers of the 454 guards spirit swords. His being the 'Decending Judgement', the dreaded sword known to be the first strike by any of his company's attacks. The sword gave him power that made him able to combat daemon princes with ease however the times he bothers is something the chapter master has some concerns over. While quite keen to get into the fight he often gets bored of fighting fast and has on several occassions left a battle however a battle that lasts long enough for him to do this is rare for he is the chapters master of quick strikes which may explain this trait. The spirit swords have been known to house great power and this one has one just as great as any of it's brothers and sisters, the blade when Greg is at drastic need, will transform in a truely fierce machine dragon thats wings are arrayed with bolters and it's firey breathe tears at infantry. The captain rides upon this rather strange steed as easy as he would ride any other form of transport. This is the most outright strangest of the spirit swords for it doesn't directly attach or retain any of it's previous appearance along with the fact so far inquisitors don't seek out this blade is that so far all inquisitors told of it call it outright madness that such a thing could exist. Shame for the enemies of man that it does.

This is first out of 9 that I will be making in stats, this is a way for me to just go nuts and enjoy myself and to break up all these serious units here and for people to have a laugh about. Enjoy.

Points: 500

Name: 3rd captain Greg, The ascending judgement

Stats: (as space marine captain)

It may fire all it's weapons in one turn, however it may split the fire into 3 groups and target different squads with them: 2 groups of 5 Twin-linked bolters, melta thrower. The melta thrower is a template weapon with Str:8 AP:1 Assault1, does not have melta rule, dragon has BS4, may fire independantly from the captain. The attackers shooting at the captain will have to randomise who they hit: 1-5 hits the dragon 6 hits the captain. Dragon has an armour save of 3+ and has 5 wounds plus a 6+ invunerable. In the assault the captain does not fight and is never targetted by any means. When the dragon dies the captain goes on foot and is treated as a normal IC from there on. If captain dies from shooting the dragon will recieve D3 wounds per turn with no saves allowed of any kind.

By far one of my most insane ideas, enjoy! :)

Ummmm i understand what your trying to do but to be honest im not really sure its in keeping with the 40k universe, and it does sound like an item that would be deemed as tainted or warped in some way and would in all likelihood be destroyed for these reasons. I do like the idea that your trying to include influence from bleach, at least i think thats what your doing, but do you think that anyone would let you play these rules? i mean for 500points you can get 2 landraiders so it does seem a little crazy on the power side. Maybe you should start smaller. something along the lines of the sword giving an ability that can be used once per games, like i dont know, surround the wielder in a firestorm or something. Bit more believable, still bleach esk, and depending on what the rules are like more likely to be accepted by others.

This one actually isn't too bad. I see multiple ways for it to be killed easily. Not like your last one...

For example: Deep strike into enemy mob. That would be an interesting loss of 500 points.

I'll actually have to check the attack power levels to see if they're worth 500 points.

:) thank you for the compliment on my insane creations!

Anyway yes this is a little more serious than my usual creations dispite what I said, and as such this is one of 9 so be prepared for a series of nuts ideas. The 500 points is born from 'better overkill than underkill' so I did think 500 is a bit much but I was aiming for something completeing Bat :cuss bonkers! MY series of the 9 spirit swords was a nice little run at crow-barring bleach into 40k (yes to the first replier, it is bleach). Trust me, I'm at least holding back the gundams! (oh how that makes mockery of titans, or I could just bring in Megas XLR for giggles since that is ever so possible knowing what happens in that show!)
