And i agree a friend of mine said the same about the blood drop on the termi but i think it must be an optical illusion, Because i did bend it and shape it to flow the same as the tabbard is flowing. Also i shall indeed be using the new BA sprue bits and gs so keep and optic on this blog :). But in all seriouness, thankyou all so much for the support!. Finally ! if anyone on good old Bolter and chainsword, lives in England and in the region of Berkshire I.E Newbury i shall be there this saturday the 10th of april for the painting and modeling comp with these models, so please feel free to come say hi :P. The legs look the proper length for the torso and should make him tower over everything like a mighty engine of destruction should. I also like that you gave him proper facing knee joints. I like the "chicken leg" style reverse knee dreads but this looks better yet. I would suggest bulking out the back "worky bits" of the legs with some pistons and cables. I assume you were planning something along those lines anyway. When you finish the dread you should get started on a true scale landraider. I can't wait to see your take on that. Shame my camera is D.O.A. at the moment otherwise I would be filling the forums with much of my converting insanity, as it is I havn't updated my urrent army blog in like 6 months. I'll get there. Look forward to seeing the big guy finished. You might want to have a look at the HH art book and see the Dread pics, maybe try doing an arm-mounted gun instead of a shoulder-mounted to give a more Pre-heresy look now that you've gone with walking legs. ephrael Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 Your sculpting skills keep improving with every model. I like the latest marine especially the back pack and helmet. I would suggest double checking for mold lines before paint. He has one running down the top of the plasma pistol that is noticeable. I would also agree with power hungry monkey on the weapon mount. I agree the srg can look weird but to the eye its the same as everyone else, in honesty i used a the look of the original Iron Man chest plate for him, kinda like the idea. And for my dready i value the imput guys totally thankyou!. But i like the lascannon based where they are the model is balanced as it is everything is in correct proportion, and perhaps he does look a lil pre-hersey, but hes more venerable to me, But again i value the ideas from you both :teehee:. I have finished a full squad now, working on the deva squad atm. have another tactical squad to do. Termie squad one and two are in the process, And yes the termies are mostly sculpted.The dreadnaught, is being beefed up mechanical wise.
