This is basic logic here, like you learn in geometry.

And Sarcasm, unfortunately, always makes a point less pointed but more sharp, you can't hold sarcasm, it cuts your hand.

That being said, what you say makes sense in a way, unfortunately the point remains that WG can't infiltrate etc. at present, and personally, I'm not convinced they can when attached to a unit that can.

Give me a reason why it doesnt work if you disagree.

That wasnt sarcasm btw. Im not sure about other countries, but in the united states about half of Geometry class is something called "Proofs" where you learn to apply mathematical laws to what your seeing to describe the entire process step by step. Its to teach people logic without gut jumping.

I am sorry it came off that way, I suppose Ill have to edit it out.

now to be fair to the other side. What qualifies as able to outflank..... IIRC only scouts/infiltrators can... also if the WG picked up the squads abilities, he would get berserk charge from a BC unit.

Because you're supposed to realize on your own that a Wolf Guard is smart enough to know what to do with the pack. If he's stuck with scouts and has to be sneaky, that is what he will do. If he's with Swiftclaws and has to ride a bike, he's not going to run after the other bikers on foot.

If the Wolf Guard does not do what the rest of the pack does to support the whole of the army, then he'll either be committing heresy, or he will look like a fool and all the other wolves will laugh at him, which is probably the worse result.

Well, I disagree with their call, and agree with the several folks on here who have given the various reasons why a WGL should be able to BEL with the Wolf Scouts. However, that being said, its their tournament and their rules, and if you can't find a more convincing argument you go with it. When it comes down to it, the loss of the WGL really shouldn't be a huge deal to your army. Depending on what you are trying to accomplish with your Scouts, you should still be able to tailor them to complete their mission without him. A small pack with a Melta Gun, one or two Plasma Pistols, and Melta Bombs if they are going after tanks. A larger pack with Melta Gun or Flamer, two Power Weapons, and model with Mark of the Wulfen if you want them to go after units. You should be fine.
