Combat Wombat
I'm currently working out a joint GK/SoB list and I was going to add a Cannoness for some CC anti tank. The main question I have is if its worth putting an eviscerator on her. I'm already planning to have an inferno pistol and melta bombs, so the eviscerator seems redundant and actually damaging since a power weapon would add an extra attack. I'm planning on having her hang out with a flight of seraphim too, if that matters. the jeske
melta bomb. 1 attack . eviscerator 4 attacks on the charge . with faith possible str 8 [helps against LR +instant deaths T4 models , what more or less means meq]. a power weapon at i3[slower then all meq , all eldar , all nids , doesnt help against guard etc] doesnt help much . also she never hits on +3 so every shot should kill. wounding on +5 without faith point sucks[and a evi canoness wounds meq on +2]. WAR
inferno pistol (or bolt pistol), blessed weapon, melta bombs, book of st lucius, jump pack and cloak of St. Aspira ohh and frag grenades is a standard flying nun build the down side is eviscerator and blessed weapon are both two handed weapons so she will lose and attack but backed up by seraphim toting meltabombs should be fine but a ver expensive unit but you already fielding GK Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183016-cannoness-outfitting/#findComment-2165019 Share on other sites
Artein
Eviscerator and Inferno Pistol are worth it. She can be S8 in CC after using act of faith. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183016-cannoness-outfitting/#findComment-2165022 Share on other sites
Combat Wombat
What does the Inferno pistol ad if you already have an eviscerator (over a bolt pistol)? Same with Melta bombs. Reclusiarch Darius
What does the Inferno pistol ad if you already have an eviscerator (over a bolt pistol)? Same with Melta bombs. Lets you blow up a transport, then assault the passengers. I do this with my Chaos Marines a lot, never gets old :) . However, if you don't see the point, just use those points for a Mantle instead. But yeah, here is the build I would always take; Canoness w/eviscerator, jump pack, Book, Cloak, Mantle (130 points) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183016-cannoness-outfitting/#findComment-2166487 Share on other sites
Combat Wombat
Thanks. Still working out exactly what she'll have based on points, but you all have been a big help. silversmith82
Blessed Weapon, BoSL, Jump Pack, Inferno Pistol, Cloak. Eviscerator only if you are doing the martyr kamikaze Canoness and put the Blessed weapon on another Canoness leading a Celestian squad in a Rhino with an attached priest. But definitely blessed weapon if tailing a Seraphim squad which she should always be doing. Any good Seraphim squad will have a VSS with evsicerator anyway so just use that one.
