Vadskær
Very nice looking marine! I like that you've achieved a good overall coat. I think it could benefit greatly from some more highlighting which would really help in terms of showing off the models details. Keep up the good work! /vadskær Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183165-dark-angels-army/#findComment-2166527 Share on other sites

ThespianSeagull
Appreciate the comments. No, its not my first marine. I've painted before, just not for quite some time and never with the intent of making an army. How bright would you recommend going with the highlights? On that model I did 2 stage highlights, 1 with 50:50 Dark Angel Green and Snot Green and then another one with just Snot Green. barry_hhh
i reckon another layer on both the red and green , use this as a test model for the army however remember it all depends on the quality you want for the army vs time you want to spend on it Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183165-dark-angels-army/#findComment-2166552 Share on other sites

I usually also use Snot Green, but then do a mix of 2:1 snot green to skull white for the edges and highest ridges. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183165-dark-angels-army/#findComment-2166612 Share on other sites
