Chaos space marine with Land Raider Crusader?

Man darn it that would be so cool. Ohh well at least we still have a defiler and a soul grinder.
Technically we only have the Defiler, the Soul Grinder is from C:Daemons and is only available to us in Apocalypse, or with friendly consent.
I've seen people use vanilla marines to represent Iron Warriors to excellent effect, but using them in actual CSM lists, not so much. As long as it isn't in a tournament I'd probably let it fly though, just ask whoever you're up against first.
Forget the Crusader, give me a Redeemer. Or heck just give me regular POTMS. Really I dont think Chaos LRs are worth it, Possession helps some, but 9 times outa 10 I use it as a big Rhino with an assault ramp, and Id rather use the points elsewhere.

I may be mistaken, or beardy, but in Apocalypse it states that you may take Chaos versions of any imperial datasheet. This includes the Armored Spearhead formation, which allows for any variant of LR. This is why my eight-pointed stars adorn a crusader and an ares pattern.

Let me know if this is vile.

In apocalypse, sure its fine.

WHEW!

I was hoping for that response! I thought so, but I have done some dumb things in my time behind the X-Acto...

If you were using s/m or SW dex to represent chaos you could use LRC. I wouldn't care if someone used s/m or SW dex to represnt csm's but unlike others here I would not let someone use LRC with a csm dex. No mixing IMO.

(not talking bout apoc. where it's legal)
