I'm interested in this particular event and would like to know which novel it's in as unfortunately I don't have the cash to purchase the entire Horus Heresy series yet but really want to read up on it and other sources would be much appreciated. But for my money 'Galaxy...' gave a more rounded overview of the actual $%!+ that went down on the front lines including the actions of titan crews. That wasn't the dropsite massacre in 'Galaxy in Flames'. The only book it's in so far is 'Fulgrim', but if you buy that for the dropsite massacre you'll be a little disappointed because it's covered only breifly: after all, the book is about Fulgrim, not the massacre, but it is very good.
