Stimpy
Hi, sorry for being a bit of a noob but am i reading this correctly? It says the unit can have 1-5 Long fangs and a leader. So, does this mean i could field a unit of 1 Long Fang!!!? Or, which sounds better, 5 Heavy Weapons plus a Leader? Sorry if this has been asked before. Hfran Morkai
Yep because Long Fangs are the remains of Grey Hunter packs, they never replace casualties and so Long Fang packs fight with low numbers so it's possible for one Long Fang and a Pack leader, great if you're low on points or creating a themed army, not so great if you want an effective unit. Stimpy
Having 5 heavy weapons who can split fire will be nice though, rather than the 4 that vanilla Marines are allowed. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/183518-long-fangs/#findComment-2170393 Share on other sites
Wulf Vengis
As said by Stimpy, split fire is just an awesome ability. Ive used on LF pack since third in almost every list just for Split Fire.
